Who We Are

Conservation Corps of Newfoundland and Labrador became the host organization for the Climate Change Education Centre in 2002. We provide public education and outreach that covers a wide scope of climate change related information. We work with a variety of special groups including municipalities, industry, and youth.

We have presented to over 11,000 youth through schools and youth organizations; provided climate change awareness sessions and curriculum training for over 500 teachers; provided over 300 public information sessions on climate change and energy efficiency, reaching more than 25,000 people; held climate change capacity building workshops for more than 50 non-governmental organizations; and presented to industry.
